Welcome to Walkerton Pentecostal Church!
Our History
As far back as 1921, a group of Christians led by the Goods and the Fisks, with others in the Walkerton area, began to seek a place to worship together. They prevailed upon Rev. George Bender, then pastor of the Kitchener Pentecostal Assembly to begin meetings assisted by Rev. W.L. Draffin.
Church services were started in the unused Evangelical Church on Colborne Street. In 1984, the ground was broken and the property on Hwy 9 was dedicated for the erection of the new church building. By the spring of 1985 a new building was standing on the property with dedication services being held May 26th
