Study on Essentials of Truth—Why do we need the Bible?

Location: Church lower Fellowship Hall

Childcare: we will provide childcare for young children in the nursery during study session. Growing in our faith and understanding is essential for both our maturity in Christ and our effectiveness as believers.

In this first semester study, we’ll focus on the Bible as God’s Word. The Bible is a rich and diverse book-filled with poetry, history, powerful narratives, and the life and teachings of Jesus. But, as an ancient text, it can also feel intimidating and confusing. Its complexity leaves many to question whether the Bible is still necessary today. Can’t we just experience God without it?

In this six-session series, author and bible teacher Lisa Harper explores the value and relevance of Scripture for everyday life. Together, we’ll discover what the Bible is, how God speaks through it, and why engaging with it matters.
